VOIDED EMPLOYMENT LEGAL EXPENSES COVER
Unfortunately, many clients pay for cover and find that they cannot use it when they need it the most. This is because almost all cover will be voided if the employer fails to stick to the ACAS Code of Conduct, and this is easy to do unwittingly even when you’re trying to put your best foot forward. If you find yourself in the position of receiving a grievance from a member of staff, you need to deal with it properly, in accordance with your policies and the law. A grievance doesn’t necessarily come labelled “GRIEVANCE” so you may not be if an unhappy email should be treated as one. Talk to Tiger, we can guide you to the best outcome.

If you feel that the time has come to tackle someone’s conduct, then you will need to make sure that you are doing everything in a fair and procedurally correct way. Sometimes you can do everything correctly, following the ACAS Code of Conduct and your internal policies, and still find yourself at the receiving end of a claim.
